  • Job Details
  • A California hospital is looking for an experienced CT Tech for a travel contract.
  • The right candidate will have 2 years of experience, hold an active BLS, ARRT(CT) and a CA Rad Tech License.

    • At least 2 years' experience
    • Active BLS
    • ARRT (CT)
    • CA Rad Tech License
      • Schedule Information
      • 12Hr shifts
      • 5x8s, for sure Friday & Saturday with 3 varied nights, first to float
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 2 scanners/rooms in the department
        • Common types of imaging/studies performed: Brain, ABD, pelvis, spine, biopsies, drainage, extremities, angio, cryoablation
        • Average # of scans/studies per day: 85-100
        • EMR & PACS used: Radnet & Merge PACS
        • Department Specific Equipment: Canon 16 slice & Canon 80 Slice
        • No Registered Radiology Assistants used
        • CT procedures do not require the start of IVs by techs
          • Additional Details
          • Every other weekend required
          • 1 major & 1 minor holiday required
          • No stand by required
          • Teal scrubs, scrubs provided
          • Orientation done by the lead Technologist or one of the senior Techs
