opportunities.Position SummaryResponsible for maintaining all
manufacturing equipment, laboratory and associated utility systems.
Manage facilities projects and coordinate major renovation
projects. Oversee fire life safety systems, monitor Building
Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems (BMS/EMS)
and provide performance reports. Manage utility service providers,
maintenance contractors, and cleaning contractors. Escort vendors
and contractors, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal
requirements. Handle procurement activities for facilities services
and materials. Monitor and track attic stock and materials, order
maintenance supplies, and maintain inventory levels. Assist with
procuring estimates and proposals from third parties and manage
additional maintenance needs. Ensure full compliance with all
applicable regulatory guidelines such as cGMP, OSHA, DEC, EPA and
EHS. Responsible for managing daily activities of direct reports
that include facility maintenance, calibration/metrology, planning
and scheduling departments.Essential Functions
- Responsible for maintaining all GMP and non-GMP manufacturing
equipment, laboratory, and plant utility systems including steam
boilers, air compressors, heating, ventilating and air conditioning
systems (HVAC), Water for Injection and primary and secondary power
distribution.
- Responsible for scheduling, reporting, execution, punchlisting,
and commissioning. Serve as the primary contact for all
facilities-related emergencies and incidents.
- Responsible for reporting department metrics
- Responsible for implementing improvements to improve efficiency
and prevent equipment obsolescence. Included are capital
improvement projects like installing HVAC, GMP and non-GMP
equipment and systems
- Responsible for insuring the validated state of all equipment,
systems and facilities and compliance with all applicable cGMP,
OSHA, DEC, EPA and local government regulations
- Responsible for meeting budgetary objectives for departmental
expenses, annual plant shutdown and capital improvements
- Responsible for the general upkeep of the cleanliness of all
IBRX sites
- Perform all other special projects and duties as
assignedEducation & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years' experience in Facilities Maintenance in a GMP
environment
- 5 years' management experienceKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong leadership/management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to have flexible work schedules
- Must be familiar with high and low voltage distribution.
- Must be familiar with machine controls including Programmable
Logic Controllers (PLC's), relay logic, and operator
interfaces.
- Must be familiar with plant utility systems including
high-pressure steam, heating, ventilating and air conditioning
(HVAC).
- Must have a clear understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills, good
documentation skills, good organizational skills and good
interpersonal skills to manage a diverse group of skilled
technicians and engineers.Working Environment / Physical

- Constantly required to sit, and to reach to use computers and
other office equipment
- Occasionally stand for extended periods of time, up to four (4)
hours/time
- Occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds
- Frequently works within the manufacturing facilities of a
pharmaceutical processing plantThis position is eligible for a
discretionary bonus and equity award. The annual base pay range for
this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the
successful candidate's qualifications, prior experience as well as
geographic location.$140,000 (entry-level qualifications) to
$182,000 (highly experienced) annuallyThe application window is
